All quilted clothing fits a range of sizes
This one of one piece is constructed with a patchwork baby quilt, or lao quilt with a velvet tie closure. These blankets were often made for children's nurseries, and come in handy when rocking a baby to sleep, or reading bedtime stories.
The Desert Marigold Original:
This is a one of one piece handmade in Davenport, California with repurposed textiles. Your new favorite article of clothing is likely made with vintage material - blemishes & discoloration are part of the charm. Please hand wash your item and hang dry for longevity!
A Quick History:
Patchwork quilts have maintained popularity throughout much of human history out of necessity and style. Many early Americans used the patchwork style to bring together whatever textiles they had available, often surrounded by community in circles called Quilting Bees. In later American history, the patchwork pattern was used for style, combining striking colors and patterns to create a stunning overall piece.
